“Managing Anxiety in the Family System”

Here’s a question for our Pathway parents: Do you ever feel anxious? Do your children struggle with anxiety? Does anxiety impact your family and how you interact with each other? Then we hope you’ll join us at our annual Family Discipleship Conference on Saturday, February 1. We’ll hear from counselors from Cornerstone Wellness as they help us know how to navigate our own anxiety and our children's. The event, which is sponsored by Geneva College,  will be filled with opportunities to learn, connect, and support one another as we and our kids learn to bring our anxiety to Jesus. The conference will take place from 9am to 1pm, and the cost is $20 per person or $30 per couple. Lunch is provided and Child care is available as a fundraiser for our Youth Mission trips.

 

What: Family Discipleship Conference

When: 9am-1pm on Saturday, February 1 (doors open for drinks at the cafe at 8:30 am)

Cost: $20 individual, $30 couple

Child care: Available upon request

Lunch: Catered lunch for adults; kids meal provided: chicken nuggets, fruit, chips, cookie [if sending snacks with your kid, please ensure they are nut-free]

Our 7 panelists talked from their own personal experience, research, and family life to share practical wisdom for parents today navigating this tricky terrain.

So if you have a child in grades 3rd-5th, please join us for a three-session course called “Foundations.” We’ll explore those, and other, foundational aspects of Christianity in these fun and fast-paced sessions.
