Finish Strong
As we near the end of our fiscal year, we want to offer a heartfelt “thank you” for your generosity. Your faithful and sacrificial giving has allowed us to meet needs and to provide ministry for all of our Pathway families and beyond. But there is more work to do. We encourage you to ask God for how He might lead you to support our ministry activities in the days ahead. You can give through our website, by placing a check or cash in one of the worship center buckets, or by mailing a check to the church office. Thank you again for prayerfully considering how you can support our ministries. And please know that any of these giving methods will ensure that you’ll receive a year-end record for your tax-deductible donations.
Visit Our Lending Library
Ever wonder what’s behind the door in the lobby that says “Resources?” It’s a lending library filled with books for everyone from toddlers to adults. We’ve got Bible studies, biographies, non-fiction books on a variety of Christian interests, and movies and videos for all ages. We also have a new area called “Our Pastors’ Picks,” which highlights the favorite books of our church leaders. Although we’re not online, we have a card catalog to help you find what piques your curiosity. We invite you to stop in any time during the week and take out items on your own.
New Church Database & App
Pathway is now using a database called Church Center to gather, share, and store information. This network will make it MUCH easier for staff, volunteers and attenders to check in, create groups, search for people, and give to our ministry electronically. You must have our new app to gain access to the database and to give online, so please download it now with this QR code. Questions? Email Mattie Livada at mlivada@lifeatpathway.com.
Pathway is Hiring!
Pathway is looking for an assistant to Ross Owens, who is pastor of our Moon Campus and our small groups pastor. The role would entail working 10-15 hours a week on the Chippewa Campus. If you are interested, email Pastor John Westurn at jwesturn@lifeatpathway.com.
Night Out For Mending Hearts
Mending Hearts, our support group for widows, is planning an evening of fun as they venture to Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School to watch the light-hearted musical “Sister Act.” The show is set for 6pm on Saturday, June 28, at the campus in Midland. Tickets are $20, which incudes a light dinner. Scholarships are available if you need assistance. RSVP to Beth Mixter at 724.601.4887.
Premarital Counseling
Did you know Pathway Church offers premarital counseling? If you are planning to get married in the fall or spring, we encourage you to sign up for a six-session counseling program with one of our pastors. It’s practical. It’s enlightening. And it’s a wonderful way to strengthen your relationship before walking down the aisle. To register or to learn more, email Mattie Livada at mlivada@lifeatpathway.com.
Praying For Pathway
Pathway is looking for a few more prayer warriors to join our Prayer Chain. If you would like to be part of a team that regularly prays over the needs of our attenders, write “Prayer Chain” and your email address on your Connect Card and drop it into the offering. Once you are part of the chain, you will receive emails with requests a couple of times a week.
Free Digital Content
We’re passionate about providing opportunities for vibrant spiritual growth here at Pathway, and we’re offering a free digital resource to help your family draw closer to God! It’s called RightNow Media and it features more than 20,000 videos you can stream on your smart phone, tablet, or TV. You can access world-class biblical content on your way to work, during lunch, at the gym, or any time that fits your busy schedule. Just write your email address on your Connect Card along with the words “RightNow Media.” We’ll take it from there.
Priorities of Pathway
We believe worshiping, growing, and serving are vital to the life of our church, so our desire is for each of you to engage in all three areas. Here’s how:
Worship: Take part in one of our weekend services in Chippewa or in Moon.
Grow: If you desire spiritual growth, prayer and friendship, join one of our weekday small groups or a Sunday morning group.
Serve: We offer a variety of ministry opportunities where you can serve God and each other. Jump in and find your fit!
